Born in Novi Sad - Serbia he started his music career as a teeneager playing drums in a number of rock bands which include Flash Rojal , Arena , Incident (who received Peoples Choice Award in 1989 at the Zajecar Festival).
Later in 1989 he formed the band Jack Danijels who became very popular at the beginning of 1990. Their first album was released with "Diskos" record company .Jack Danijels played with a number of famous folk & pop artists including Ceca Raznjatovic , Mira Skoric , Slavko Banjac , Zorica Markovic , Brzi , Miroslav Ilic , Zoran Kalezic and many more.
In 1994 during the civil war in Yugoslavia he left the country and emigrated to Sydney , Australia where he continues his music career as a session drummer for visiting folk and pop artists from ex Yu republics including Zdravko Colic , Alen Islamovic , Zeljko Sasic , Dragana Mirkovic , Bora Djordjevic , Bajaga , Zabranjeno Pusenje.During this time he also plays with Australian artists including Kelly Bradford (Heaven) , ECM , Irish Rock Show , Women of Troy whilst also attending Eora College and finishing a course in Contemporary Music.
He continues his studies at Western Sydney University and finishes Diploma in Technical Production. Gaining respect from his professors and peers he receives the 6th Annual CMC Sound Production Excellence Award.
Professors include Joe Hench , Andy Jacobson and Peter Contini who are known and respected worldwide in the music industry.
Upon finishing his studies he establishes his own commercial recording studio "Harmony Sound Recording Studio" , working as both engineer and producer to numerous Australian solo artists and bands , also composing music for 2 Australian short films "Gift of Laughter" and "Bye Bye Tough Guy".For more information and credits visit
At present he is performing as a solo artist singing ex - Yu pop and rock cover songs .
